Each month one of our instructors or recruits will share their thoughts/ insights by responding to a series of questions. This month long-time recruit Scott Ellis is in the spotlight:
Favourite exercise
Anything that challenges me. That’s why I love the OBC program, and the fulfilment it delivers mentally and physically.
Musical inspiration
Depends on my mood really, but my typical go to is Hard rock, 80’s metal, and 90’s grunge bands. Too many bands and genres to mention TBH. I also love groups such as Roxette, Pink Floyd and Dire straits.
Go-to cheat meal
BBQ ribs, Pizza and or burgers.
Spectator sport of choice
Watching my life flash before my eyes on a daily basis. AFL football comes a very close second!
Phobia
Shitty nappies! Oh, and heights.
Motto
Perfect weekend
Time to myself with No kids. Love playing guitar too….on my own.
Victoria’s best hidden treasures
A small town along the Great Alpine road on the way to Omeo called Ensay. It’s about 90mins away from Mount Hotham. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful part of Eastern Victoria that feels like home. I would happily pitch a one man tent there for the rest of this lifetime.
First choice for date night
LOL. As if it would be my choice….Next question.
Best place to go with kids
Been almost 25 years and still wondering that myself to be honest. Must have bus parking though! lockable doors and or child size cages are a must have on the facilities list. Oh, and a crèche. Nannie’s are even better.
BIG4 caravan parks are also a handy drop off point
COMMUNICATION via What’s App Community Group
Thanks to Belinda Lee for letting us know of the What’s App community group function. A LIVING EDGE COMMUNITY GROUP has been set up on What’s App, which will allow you to receive important updates/program changes and event news from your coaches. This group will be used for one-way communication only so you won’t be bombarded with notifications. Anyone not yet a member of The Living Edge Comunity Group is encouraged to join HERE
The OBC staying connected group will continue to be used for two-way banter between groups members and for the sharing of photos, etc after sessions. If you are interested in joining the two-way chat, in addition to the community group, please click here.
COMEDY FESTIVAL SOCIAL EVENT
We are thinking it would be fun to get a group together for a night out at the upcoming Comedy Festival. Please complete this quick survey if you are keen to join us.
UPDATE YOUR EXERCISE QUESTIONNAIRE DETAILS
In order for us to ensure we can cater for individual need and modify exercises according to any medical concerns or issues, it is important that your pre-exercise questionnaire remains updated at all times. Please get into the habit of checking this each month when you enrol, as well as anytime there is a change in your health status.
Please also check that emergency contact details remain up-to-date.
JOIN OUR SOCIALS
